Backyard Cinema

Aluminium-framed backyard cinema packages with quick-setup 100"–150" screens and HD projectors, including daylight-friendly ALR and tie-between-the-trees options for homes and holiday parks.

Movie nights, sized for your yard

A backyard cinema package pairs a lightweight aluminium-framed projection screen with an HD projector so you can set up a movie night in minutes — no blower, nothing to inflate, and a frame that packs down small between uses. It’s the right scale for homes, courtyards, cabins and holiday-park sites, where an inflatable wall is more than the space needs.

A package for every backyard

  • Lite packages — the simplest, most affordable frame-and-projector kits in 100”, 120” and 150”, for quick, casual movie nights
  • Standard & PRO packages — a sturdier 120” setup, with a PRO step-up for a brighter projector and bigger sound
  • ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) — a 120” screen engineered to hold contrast in lit conditions, so you don’t have to wait for full dark
  • TreeLine screen — a frameless panel that ties between two trees or posts, for the fastest setup of all

Built to be easy

  • Quick, tool-light setup — a foldable aluminium frame, up in minutes
  • Quiet — no continuous blower, so nothing competes with the film
  • Compact — packs down to store in a garage or cupboard between nights
  • Scales up when you need it — stepping to a bigger crowd? Our inflatable cinema systems take over from here

Frequently asked questions

How is a backyard package different from an inflatable screen?
Backyard packages use a lightweight aluminium tube frame instead of an inflatable wall — there's no blower to run and nothing to keep inflated, so they're quieter, quicker for a small yard, and pack down compact. Inflatable screens scale far larger for big crowds; backyard frames are sized for homes, courtyards and holiday-park sites.
Which screen size suits a backyard?
Most homes land on 100"–120"; 150" suits larger lawns and shared spaces. We can talk through throw distance, seating and ambient light to pick the right size.
Can it be used while there's still some light?
Yes — our ALR (Ambient Light Rejection) package holds a noticeably better image in lit conditions. For full daylight, LED is the better tool; for evenings and dusk, a backyard projection package is ideal.
Do I need a frame at all?
Not always — the TreeLine screen is a simple panel designed to tie between two trees or posts, with no frame to assemble, for the fastest possible movie night.
