Screen Surface Options

  • Front Projection Surface (included)

    Our standard front-projection surface is made from tough white PVC with a black backing for excellent brightness and contrast. It delivers a sharp, vibrant image and is ideal for most outdoor cinema setups.

  • Rear Projection Surface (optional)

    The rear-projection surface uses a durable semi-transparent PVC material that allows the projector to sit behind the screen. This keeps cabling and equipment out of the audience area for a cleaner, safer viewing setup.

Sealed vs Constant Air Flow

  • Sealed (Air Tight) Screens

    Sealed screens only require an air blower, or inflator, for the initial inflation, allowing for quieter operation during the movie. Once inflated, the blower is removed, meaning audiences only hear your movie audio and not the background hum of a large electric blower. All of our inflatable screens up to 6m are sealed, unlike many other suppliers who typically provide constant air style screens. Sealed screens require more premium fabrics and advanced manufacturing techniques to retain air pressure, which is why lower-cost inflatable screens are often constant air designs.

  • Constant Air Screens

    Constant air screens require a high-powered blower to run continuously for the entire duration of use to maintain shape and pressure. This results in ongoing power draw and audible blower noise during operation. These screens are more commonly used in low-cost inflatables for smaller screens and jumping castle-style products. For extra-large cinema screens over 6m, audiences are typically positioned much further back or used in drive-in style setups, where blower noise becomes far less noticeable. For larger screens, constant air construction can help reduce screen weight.
